I myself is belongs to CSE field , creating apps , website , playing with databases and much more is very smooth in my laptop. I am using Ryzen 500 series laptop. So it's my personal option for those who want to do web development , app development or handle databases , running different enviroments or writing and compiling huge programs and have low budget , wants to save money without compromising with the performace of the listed fields can opt for Ryzen 5000 series. But for those who want to do work with heavy machine learning models should opt for ryzen 7000 or above or Intel i5 12Gen with graphics or up series.
you can start learning and working with ML models in ryzen 5000 series but until you are not working or high demanding ML project. Like maknig a model which can tell you 2nd hand car price or a model which can differentiate between dag or cat, models like these can be easily build with ryzen 5000 series. Now its your chioce according to your demand and budget you can choose between Intel on AMD.
